Approving Time Off
RUN Administrator: Log onto runpayroll.adp.com, select the Time () Icon from the left navigation bar.
Time & Attendance Administrator: Log into https://time.adp.com
1. Select People and Process > Employee > Time Off Requests
2. Click the Request Number in the row you want to review.
3. To Approve a Time Off Request.
4. To view other employees who have been approved for the same day > Click the Boat Icon under
Compare to Other Employees’ Non-Worked Schedules.
Requesting Time Off
Reviewing Previously Requested Time Off
Visit the Message Center for updates on the status of your request.

From the Home page of Time and Attendance.
Both options will bring you to the My Time Off Request page in which you can view all past, current, or future time off that has been requested.
Managing Employees Accrual Balances
RUN Administrator: Log onto runpayroll.adp.com, select the Time () Icon from the left navigation bar.
Time & Attendance Administrator: Log into https://time.adp.com
1. Select People and Process > Employees > Accrual Balances.
2. The selected employees Accrual Balances will display on the right. For more detail, click the
Accrual Definition.
3. For an itemized transaction history, click the number in the Total Hours Balance row.
-To adjust this employee’s balance, click Adjust.
-To pay out this employee for unused time off, click Cash Out.
4. To adjust this employee’s balance, complete the Adjust fields:
a. Adjustment Type: Select Adjustment.
b. Amount: Type the number of hours by which you want to adjust the balance. To remove
hours, type a minus sign (-) before the amount. To add hours, type the number of hours
you would like to add.
c. Transaction Date: Type the date to which you want to apply the adjustment.
d. Notes: Type a summary for this adjustment. The employee can view this note.
e. Click Submit. An Adjusted line displays in the employee’s accrual record when complete.
5. To pay out this employee for unused time off, complete the Cash Out fields:
a. Amount: Type the total number that you want to cash out.
b. Pay Date: Type a date in the current pay period, for example, today’s date.
c. Pay Code: Select the type of hours to cash out, for example, VACATION.
d. Notes: Type a summary for this adjustment. The employee can view this note.
-Important: Cash Out submissions are completely irreversible.
e. Click Submit. A Cashed Out line displays in the employee’s accrual record and Individual
Timecard when complete.
Deny or Cancel Time Off
RUN Administrator: Log onto runpayroll.adp.com, select the Time () Icon from the left navigation bar.
Time & Attendance Administrator: Log into https://time.adp.com
1. Select People and Process > Employee > Time Off Requests
2. Click the Request Number in the row you want to review.
3. To Deny a Time Off Request.
4. To cancel a request, click to select Cancel Request.
5. To view other employees who have been approved for the same day > Click the Boat Icon under
Compare to Other Employees’ Non-Worked Schedules.
Creating an Approved Time Off Report
Note: This report does not include Pending or Denied Time Off Request. To view these requests, navigate to People & Process > Employees > Time Off Requests.
RUN Administrator: Log onto runpayroll.adp.com, select the Time () Icon from the left navigation bar.
Time & Attendance Administrator: Log into https://time.adp.com
1. From the homepage of ADP Time & Attendance, click View Reports.
2. Click the pencil icon ( ) to edit the Daily Schedule Report.
3. Make the following Changes to on the Edit Report screen.
4. In the Current Filters for this Report section, choose Non-Worked in the drop-down menu.
5. The page will refresh. Once it refreshes, scroll back down and click on Add Filter.
6. The page will refresh once more. The filter will be saved to the report. Click Save.
7. To run your newly created report, navigate to Reports > My Reports.
